My boys have been attending for the past three years. I attended the grading ceremony yesterday and it was really lovely seeing for the first time a glimpse of what they do. I think Jack is perfect for the class - he’s warm with them but still has their respect

The teachers are very professional and understanding. My son's self esteem and confidence has increased a lot since joining them. They are very understanding towards children with additional needs and always very supportive by making adaptations to make the child comfortable.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys attending the Ishin Ryu Ju Jitsu in Borehamwood and comes out of every session with a smile on her face, I have personally seen a huge improvement with her self confidence, she is making new friends, learning how to defend herself, keeping fit and she absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing, my daughter is taught by Gavin Margrie who I feel is always very approachable and happy to provide support/advice to any parent that may have questions.

Signed myself and my son up here a month ago. My son seems to enjoy it and it's been great for my fitness and motivation. Instructors are excellent, with very clear instruction and they know how to push you to your limits, so you in turn can push past them. The founding ethos is one of respect, hard-work and no compromise in principles. This can be seen reflected in the achievement and attitude of all the students. I have enjoyed every minute of it. My son, my wife, and I have been members for a few months now and have just had our first grading. The club has a fantastic family atmosphere, and we've all been made to feel really welcome. If you want everything easy and handed to you on a plate, this isn't the club for you, but if you want a real sense of achievement and to push yourself to new levels with each session, come and give it a go

I have been training with Ishin Ryu since I was 13 and I have only wonderful things to say about this club. All the instructors are friendly, welcoming and have created a family of students that support each other incredibly. I have developed so much confidence by training with Ishin Ryu and there’s no better workout.
