Walking up & down the main road is good. There's plenty of open shops and I hardly any empty or closed down shops, which is a great sign of good marketing and production. That shows a thriving town. Even the retail park was VERY busy, the carpark was practically full and compared to other towns (Watford) and city's I've been to (St Albans/Luton) they have a lot to do to catch up to the standards at Borehamwood & Elstree. The high street was very clean and despite being busy people did adhere to the covid rules for shops and buses. I was given space to photograph some of the film related displays that are placed in the street, a nice touch! Perhaps other council's could take a idea, or a trip here and get a feel for how a high street should be.

It's the best synagogue in Borehamwood and Elstree with an orthodox community and services for toddlers to youth, and of course the main service. There are events regularly and Bnei Akiva meet there weekly.
