Service a bit slow got shown to table when they found our booking not very busy but waited 20 minutes for drinks order staff just seemed to walk past when someone finally came over as said have you been served I said no staff said she would be straight back but a 15 minute wait on the bright side the food was good

Really good experience here for breakfast! Mandy was very quick to meet and greet us and was very lovely. Cane back to the table to check all was OK. Steve the chef was amazing (had to make many eggs) he was very bubbly and helpful. Adriana was also very helpful. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

Came here with my mum for breakfast and i really enjoyed it, the eggs were to die for! i loved them! thank you steve - also thank you for making me laugh! Mandy our waitress was so lovely and kind.

She always goes above and beyond to ensure our dining experience is good, she is always attentive to our needs and ready to assist with any requests. Her friendly demeanour and willingness to go the extra mile is what makes us come back. The food at Toby Carvery is ok, but Kelly's exceptional service is what truly makes the experience. Honestly, I was so disappointed! First time in The borehamwood branch and I know it doesn’t make a difference but I won’t ever go there again! The time we arrived i assumed everything would be fresh as it’s within “dinner time” but it was far from it. The meats were cold! The Yorkshire puddings were stale. Although we done the 1.99 extra …there was no sausages that are meant to come with…no lamb… The stuffing was cold gravy was cold and the roast potato’s were undercooked. The waitress asked if all was okay to which I replied not really she then continued on her walk either she didn’t hear or didn’t want to hear. I guess she’s had a long day which is understandable but when it came to paying and she noticed we didn’t tip and as a result she dismissed us abruptly. But I cannot tip service I didn’t receive! The atmosphere just felt chaotic especially with other inconsiderate diners (No fault of the restaurant). I genuinely feel like this place needs a good kick up the carvery to get it to a standard that’s actually enjoyable!

I thought the staff were absolutely amazing! Natalie (I think that was her name!) was particularly brilliant...We visited for my mothers 69th Birthday. We brought a cake and candles and asked if they wouldnt mind bringing this out to us, which they did! Natalie had got her colleagues together to sing Happy Birthday to my mum which she loved. Her whole friendly and happy demeanor was just so lovely. She really made our visit amazing.

Kelly’s service was absolutely fantastic; me and my friend popped in for a roast and felt so welcomed. Such a warm and lovely energy she brought and it made the dining experience even better. Great food as well! 10/10
