This was my experience with Conway & Company Solicitors, specifically Ronnie Herman, as the vendor's solicitor in the purchase of my property. 1. Despite numerous follow ups from our solicitor, we waited about two months for Ronnie to complete standard information required for our sales contract. When we finally received this (after threatening to pull out of the purchase), it was incomplete and required extensive back and forth before we were finally given complete information. 2. We were told that the vendor was ready to settle, and when our solicitor phoned Ronnie to exchange, he revealed he had not received a DS1 form , but he was prepared to give an undertaking that he held. This further delayed the process as we required the DS1 form. 3. When we received the DS1 form and our solicitor tried to get in contact to exchange, Ronnie refused to acknowledge any email correspondence, and would only respond to a phone call from our solicitor, which yet again delayed the process for all parties at a very critical point. He told his client we had not been in touch which was not the case. We felt that Ronnie showed a lack of interest and professionalism throughout the process and would not recommend this firm based on our experiences of the services provided during our property purchase.
