I attending the venue for a Wedding, which was beautiful as were the families attending, the caretaker was helpful , however the catering staff on site need some training on how to greet and speak to guests , some had to apologise for others poor eticate. The venue is a good size, suitable for a Weddings , Christening and Family gathering , maybe even a Promotional parties/ Event , a proper cloakroom would be a welcomed additional touch , as there is space for it . In regards to times and availability, however , you'd need to check closure times, as I believe guest have to leave by 11.30pm.

Yesterday, I spent several fun hours with loved ones (and new faces alike) attending a family friend's wedding - such a glorious, diverse cultural event 🎉✨️🎵💃🏾 It was super easy to find the Allum Hall & Manor House building. Within 3 minutes' walk from Elstree and Borehamwood Station. Moments after arriving, a Trustee of the organisation happened to be around briefly, putting in the final touches. And gave me a warm welcome. It was a lovely way to kickstart our wonderful gathering! 💝

We hired this venue for our event on the 15th June. The staff are brilliant and took several visits and queries prior to booking and also before the day. They made suggestions and gave ideas as well as had a caretaker on hand throughout the event. We had parking for loads of cars, it is across the road from the station and was able to accommodate over 300 guests. Would highly recommend it for any functions. The hall can also be partitioned if you have a smaller number.

Today 1/6/24 a large group was holding an events which include roasting a whole pig with its head which could be clearly visible from the street lots of kids were traumatized. How could this be allowed in the open right by the Main road for children to watch. Absolutely disgusting. Owner should be ashamed to grant permission.

The facilities are good, the sound system is perfect. Toilet facilities are a bit narrow for the masses though but manageable. A peaceful place for gathering and a recommended place for various events.

Nice location with good transport network for events. Well maintained buildings with parking facilities, good garden, convenience rooms, etc. and importantly helpful staff.

We booked Allum Hall and Manor House for a children’s birthday party. Sam was great from the start. Communication was excellent and she ensured everything when smoothly on the day. This is our 3rd time we have booked and would have no hesitation booking again.

Very pleased with experience booking Allum Hall for a family birthday brunch. We booked the lounge/bar area, which was a perfect space for 30-40 people seated. The staff were a pleasure to deal with and everything was clean and ready for us. As well as the hall, tables and chairs, we had use of the car park, large kitchen and urns. I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

Very spacious hall with a sizeable kitchen and adequate parking. Built-in sound system means you can bring your equipment and no speakers.
